Our poodle puppies at Absolute Standard Poodles are amazing. Why? Because they are all raised in our home with love and care just like our children. Our puppies are the product of careful and responsible breeding.

Our babies will grow and display the same splendid qualities as their parents and grandparents. Beauty, incredible, personalities and health. They will spend the first week of their life with their mother. From the moment they are born these new lives are handled by us. As a consequence our puppies are accustomed to human touch. In fact at four weeks these babies are very excited to see us. So adorable, they bark, they play and they are pure joy. About this time we introduce solid food to go along with mother’s milk. Puppies are weaned at about 7 weeks. We move mom and puppies to the kitchen at four weeks... now begins socialization. They now learn about life in our home. Its time to meet the relatives… the entire family of poodles are here. The kitchen is important because for most of us, it is the heart of the home. Also it familiarizes puppies with normal sounds in the house. At 6 weeks our puppies receive a complete physical examination performed by our veterinarian Dr. Christina Heathcock of Newport Animal Hospital. At 8 weeks puppies receive their first vaccine, and continue to follow Dr. Dodd's vaccine protocol. This means they receive their second vaccine at 12 weeks, and the third at 16 weeks.

When our puppies go to their forever homes they are well socialized, eating solid food, and paper trained. Our goal is to give them a wonderful start

to grow into an amazing poodle. Ready to love their new family and be an exceptional member of the breed. We tell people these new babies will adjust to your home and routine and be your heart.

Ledger, the sire of this litter, winning at Poodle Club of America. Ledger has gone on to produce beautiful puppies. He is also a playful and wonderful companion, living at home with Sandy. You can see his pedigree here.

Look who has arrived, Dawn and Ledger's puppies. We blinked and the new babies have turned eight weeks old! Currently Odin and Louie, the two boys, have gone to their forever homes... as you can see! We miss you but you are not far away. Our newest puppy, Blaze, is sleeping in our bed every night enjoying poodle life in our family. Keep in touch! There will be more puppies coming the in the Fall/Winter 2015!
